Our Stout was first produced in 2008 and was the first Icelandic Stout. Dark, roasted aroma, espresso beans, dark chocolate and cocoa are words that can be used to describe our Stout. It is intense in texture and character, yet relatively easy drinking and balanced.

Shared bottle at local tasting. Black colour, moderate beige head. Dryish roasty aroma, hints of old leather and bacon. Dry and roasty flavour too, notes of bacon and smoke. Did not blow my socks off this one.

spacecube (1748) - Leeds, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2015
Half litre on keg in Reykjavik. Pours almost black with a small tan head. Roasty malts, mocha in the nose, mild coffee notes. Finish is light bitter and balanced. Body is medium, texture thin, carbonation is lively for a stout.

Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - OCT 16, 2014
Pours an almost opaque black with a small brown head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, coffee, espresso and roasted malts. Taste is roasted malts, cocoa, dark chocolate and bitter roasted malts. Nice dry finish with a medium light body but a complexity of flavors. Carbonation is a bit too high in this beer and something more to give it a bit more body or a slick mouthfeel would make this wonderful stout great!
