Bragik (1) - ICELAND - MAY 7, 2016 does not count
One of the best but ought to be less sweetness would sell more if sweetness is reduced.

Can (thanks SADESA, old backlog). Reddish brown colour, with a small slightly off-white head. Aroma is mild roasted notes with some slight cardboard and quite mashlike notes. Flavour is sweet mashlike notes along with mild ryebread and some toasted notes. Rather sweet. A bit kvasslike.

Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - FEB 6, 2009
Can thanks to Puzzl for sharing. pours a deep dark brown. Aroma of dark toasted wheat malt, and a rye/pumpernickel bagel, doughy raw brown demarera sugary sweetness with a garbage- dms vege character. Flavor is a bit metallic, tons of sweet brown sugar, honey, molasses, dough- rye more garbage, and some gritty paper crap, and pumpernickel with a slight slickness in the end. Meh.

Can courtesy of puzzl. Sweet malt extract aroma, corn, DMS and a heavy rancid character. Husky and grainy. Flavour is sweet and grainy... definitely tastes better than it smells, but that isn’t saying a whole lot.

PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - DEC 18, 2008
Can shared by puzzl. Pours brown small tan head. The aroma is very grainy and husky. Slick body with a sugary flavor. Lightly grainy with a smooth sweet corn syrup note and a vacant finish. If this was labeled as a soda I would like it, but it fails to give a bready richness that I like to see in kvass beverages. I like the Egils Maltextract more side-by-side.

Big can from Iceland. Dark brown pour, mostly clear, with a decent head. Aroma is a very sweet pumpernickely kind of thing. When in Iceland, I had a natural pumpernickel bread that was cooked by letting it sit over natural steam producing geysers in the local thermal area. This beer-like substance tastes like that. Not too bad, really.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 18, 2007
Dark amber colored, medium sized beige head. Strongly sweet and nutty aroma, some interesting spicy tone also here. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is overly sweet with added sugar tone, again this nutty caramel here. Mild roastiness in aftertaste with some grain. Well, first for me from Iceland, otherwise too sweet and artificial.

Ungstrup (38140) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAY 7, 2007
Can. A dark amber beer with a dark brown head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of straw, caramel, and rye bread. While the flavor is a bit simpler with sweet notes of malt combined with notes of rye bread. Very nice low ABV beer.

Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 6, 2007
(Can 50 cl) Clear, reddish brown with a light brown head. Very sweet aroma of roasted malt. Light-bodied with distinctlly sweet notes of roasted malt. Sweet, sweet, sweet - and no balancing hops. 290407

Emil (6065) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2007
Can. Ruby colour with a big beige head. Sweet malty, raisin aroma and a very sweet malty, raisin, prunes taste. Medium body with a very sweet finish.
