Deriving its name from the classical word for Iceland, ‘Ultima Thule’, this is now one of the Iceland’s most popular beers. With medium bitterness, an agreeable flavor of hops and a pleasant aftertaste, Thule Export beer seeks its origins to the family of Pilsen beers. It has a pale golden color and an alcohol content of 5% by volume.

Not great. Slightly moldy straw aroma like spring on the Icelandic lowlands. Golden pour with ok head. Finish has long cloying aftertaste. Bottle.

Juks (1202) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 7, 2017
330ml bottle from local alco store in Reykjavik. Pours clear pale yellow with small white head and it doesn’t last. Almost no aroma, some corny syrup. Taste is corny sweet, and that’s it. Very watery, low body, average carbo. Are you sure it’s a beer?

alex_leit (5316) - Minsk, BELARUS - FEB 27, 2016
Can 500 ml. Pale golden color with weak foam. Aroma: malte, slightly fruity and soap. Taste: of malt and grain, slightly spicy hops.

Nekronos (4213) - Xalapa, MEXICO - FEB 20, 2016
Quite soft and very thin. A littl of honey hints from he hops used. Cold when drinking it as a normal lager.

Tranquillity (2571) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 18, 2015
This is the lamest lager I’ve seen. It looks like a champagne, almost see-through. The aroma was bad but the taste is even worse. Like lime water. Bad.

ekim (6) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 10, 2015 does not count
Can. Common lager you could swap with sample from another brewery and you do not notice it. Not bad, not good. A bit less than average

Manslow (1972) - Warsaw, POLAND - MAY 19, 2015
Puszka 0,5l Kolor złoty, piana minimalna.Aromat słodu i kukurydzy. Smak słodu i lekki chmiel. Nagazowanie słabe, wodniste, brak wyrazistości.

Ysok02 (1914) - Mons, BELGIUM - APR 28, 2015
Une bière assez simple mais raffraîchissante, peu de corps et de longueur. Bière assez basique

BeerandBlues2 (14027) - Escondido, California, USA - MAR 2, 2015
Bottle at Eld Smidjan, Reykjavik. Pours brilliantly clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is pale Pils malt and faint spicy hops. Flavor is sweet and crisp pale malt, light spicy hops and bitterness, a clean lager character and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation.

Travlr (26430) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAR 2, 2015
Bottle at a pizza place in Reykjavik courtesy of BeerandBlues2. Mrs Blues2 said it looks like the Icelandic Rolling Rock. Pale yellow color, white head. Aroma of boiled vegetables. Taste is a bit better but not too much better. Woof.
