I have drank this beer on many occasions in Calgary. The beer pours a light golden colour with a white head. The beer is moderately hoppy with a fruity taste.

Bright golden with white foam. Light grassy hops with grainy aromas. Taste is a bit grainy as well with a mildly bitter finish. Light bodied with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Finish is clean.

Pint at Craft Beer Market in Calgary, AB on 02/18/2012. Colour: Mostly orange with light red smattering. Medium-low head that is white. Nose: A mixed fruit bag of orange, watermelon, grapefruit and cherry. A bit of grassy hop peeks in after swirling. Taste: Medium-light sweet, medium-light bitter, medium-light sour. Fruity again, but not citrus heavy like I would have expected, more sweet with cherry and grape. Hop comes through mid-palate with grassy taste (again I would have expected more floral). Drinkable for whatever it was supposed to actually be.

330ml bottle pours a clear bright golden color with a finger of white head that settles down to leave some spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is grassy and grainy with some pepper. Taste is a grainy malt sweetness with a grassy and spicy bitterness. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A quality blonde ale that is worthy of sampling.

Pours a light golden colour with a white cap and decent lacing. Honey smelling cereal grain scent with spicy hops. Same for taste, but not as sweet as less honey notes. The finish is short. Reminds me of Steam Whistle ingredients, but a little more watery. Still good.

Looks lively. Pale yellow with thin white head. Malt and fresh bread aroma. Was refreshing with clean finish but not robust or complex enough to be called a blonde ale.

341 ml bottle poured at home. Pours yellow with a thin white head. Smells like grass and something industrial like metal, chemicals or copper. Taste is strange with grass and metallic finish. Not very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Beer Revolution. Pale yellow with a light whitish cap. Nose has light grains and weak fruity note. Taste is rather light with a grainy base. Some grainy aftertaste. Light brew overall.

Village Blonde goes down easy. Hmm, is there a joke in there somewhere? Faint grass and grain aroma and taste.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2012 This is a brand new batch, consumed just a day after bottling. Yellow in colour. A malty, kind of sweet aroma and flavour, with a very slight hoppy bitter finish. Nothing special, but an okay beer, and it seems they improved their product from the earlier batch.
