COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Despite it’s name, this is a serious brew unsuited to tawdry puns. It is a finely crafted, unfiltered wheat ale in the Belgian tradition. The colour of straw with a delicate white haze, Wit has crisp flavours accented with orange zest and coriander. A classic. So get into Wit

Draft at Boxwood. Looks nice. Stable big tight frothy head that wont stop, loads of poppin fresh pale malts in the aroma, no yeast overload, super soft palate, light, big coriander and orange flsvors up front leading to mellow malty middle. Sweet finish starts to cloy after a pint but still is a nice brew.

Draft. The body is hazy yellow with a small white head. The aroma has pineapple and citrus. They taste is very fruity. Not at all like a wit, more like a saison, but I like it!

a safe wit that would be hard to pick out in an alberta wheat beer tasting. very similar to velvet fog, grasshopper, etc. in character, but with a little less punch. the coriander and orange are hardly noticeable (honestly might not pick that out if the description didn't say). that being said, it goes down easy and won't offend anyone's taste.

Tasted this in Canada. Nice color, aroma. A bit bitter initially, but a nice finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, yellow colour with a diminishing frothy white head. Yeasty, fruit-accented aroma with notes of apricot, banana and oranges, as delicately floral and resiny hops, backed by a moderate wheat character. Mildly sweet flavour, quite watery on the palate with an almost creamy carbonation. Dry-ish wheaty malty base with mildly fruity and slightly spicy notes; slim wheaty, mildly sweet and delicately hop bitter finish. Unfortunately a tad too slim, otherwise likeable. 22.XII.14

Was recently in SF and had Allagash White on tap, then came back to Calgary and had Village Wit on tap at the Oak Tree, and there is no comparison really. Little to no spice or citrus flavour, very yeasty. Not well balanced. Boring.

Slightly hazy straw yellow pour with medium sized white head. Aroma of wheat, citrus, coriander and orange rind. Taste of wheat, coriander, lemony citrus and a crisp finish. Light bodied, fizzy carbonation, funny aftertaste of some sort.

Aroma holds a hint of orange, taste is of coriander yeast and orange zest. Light and refreshing taste, no bitterness, slightly sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow with a large, short lived, fluffy white head that laces. Aroma of coriander, orange, wheat and yeast. Sweet flavour with orange, coriander, yeast and wheat with a mildly sour, dry, bitter finish. Light body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Refreshing.

330ml brown bottle. Colour is lemon yellow, cloudy, some floaties. Small white cap. Aromas of toasty wheat, a little yeast. Taste has wheat, citrus, clove, trace of spice. Very yeasty finish. Light bodied. Ok.

A boring but refreshing wit. Pours a cloudy, light lemony yellow with a heavy finger of white head. The aroma is light, toasted wheat, pinch of coriander and lemon peel/orange rind notes. Refreshing and clean up front with a light toasted wheat malt, corainder, pepper, grassy hops. Not bitter. Well balanced.
