Voivod (304) - Como, - MAY 24, 2003
Amber colour, good head, quite persistent. Spicy and fruity (peach and apricot) aroma with some cereal hints. The flavour is fresh, fruity (orange peels, peach and apple) with a bitter hoppy finish and a spicy aftertaste. Not bad...

JefVerstraete (3351) - Oosterzele, BELGIUM - JUL 19, 2017
Gebrouwen en gebotteld bij NV Villers, Puurs. Best Before July 1990. Clear amber colour, no foam. Taste of green apples, oxidation, cardboard. Some vanilla, sweetness. Too old and oxidized.

Rubin77 (2113) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAY 7, 2017
F: big, egg-white, not long lasting. C: gold, light hazy. A: a lot of fruity esters, banana, peach, BE yeast, hint of floral. T: malty, fruity, a bit spicy, bready, yeasty, medium body, medium to high carbonation, not specially good and not memorable for me, 33cl bottle from Carrefour market – St. Michel @ Etterbeek, Brussels.

Iznogud (3798) - CROATIA - FEB 7, 2017
Bottle, 330 ml from Svijet Piva. Shared with Miro and Max. Pours hazy yellow, medium white head. Perfumish, yeasty, bit fruity, sweet, malty. Medium bodied.

drjoeng (1291) - SINGAPORE - AUG 21, 2016
8.5%ABV. Abbey Tripel Poured out gold. 6ºSRM. Nose is sweet and beery. The dusty, cement-like aroma of the Belgian Tripel is noticed only on the end because the overall nose is so sweet and pale malt. There may be some very nice soda and light sweet aromas on the nose. Mouthfeel is light. Palate has some solid pale malt and you have to struggle to get the beery roots of the palate. For me, there is white bread, fresh baguette, steamed rice cakes and sticky rice. There is some alcoholic bitter, but there is something more, The palate is bitter with ume, dry wood, dust. I get a hint of green plum skin tannin. There is some fresh fruit on the palate with unripe plums and there are fresh green grapes in the end, especially with the skins. Finish is predictably clean after the bitter Woody attenuation near the end of the palate. Goes on Favorites List !

Swaroga (2217) - Warszawa, POLAND - JUL 9, 2016
Sample. Clear yellow with big white head. Aroma is sugar, apricot, wet cardboard, orange peel and banana. Taste is also sugar with bad sugar aftertaste. Nothing fancy or worth trying again.

Svesse (8597) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - JAN 7, 2016
(Bottle, Delirium Café, 17 Oct 2015) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with dried fruit, candy sugar and spicy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, candy sugar, dried pineapple and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made tripel, one of the better from Huyghe. Nice one.

Nicolas_M (199) - BELGIUM - OCT 22, 2015
Aroma reminds me of cheese, but I can’t remember which one. Not a song taste, except for the 8.5 pct of alcohol. So not the best idea to drink it while eating some cheese. Not a bad beer but nothing to make me want to drink another one.

florent.janssens (353) - - OCT 22, 2015
Mousse qui retombe. Odeur de fromage. Faible en goût pour une triple. Chargé en alcool.

psilosophy (782) - vitry en artois, FRANCE - MAY 27, 2015

tderoeck (9656) - Gent, BELGIUM - FEB 4, 2015
31/XII/14 - 33cl bottle from Amon Tchiniss (Malmédy) @ holiday - BB: II/2016 (2014-1571)

Slow gusher alert!
Clear orange beer, huge aery fluffy white head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: very oxidized, bit skunky, hay, malts, cow fodder. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet, oxidized, orange peel, soft bitterness, bit metallic. Aftertaste: very boring, oxidized, some caramel, little bitter.
