Šis alus gaminamas pagal klasikinę technologiją iš vandens, šviesaus miežių salyklo ir karamelinio salyklo, apynių bei alaus mielių. Ilgo brandinimo metu natūraliai įsotinta angliarūgštė suformuoja ilgai išliekančią standžią putą. Alus pasižymi sodria tamsia spalva, salstelėjusiu karamelės prieskoniu ir maloniu aromatu.

This beer is produced according to the classical technology of water, light barley malt and caramel malt, hops and beer yeast. During the long maturation time, naturally saturated carbon dioxide forms long-lasting rigid foam. It has a rich dark colour, sweetish caramel flavour and pleasant aroma.

butelka 0,33.

Aroma - bread, nuts and some toast. Appearance - red-brown clear color with a minimal tan head. Taste - light sourness and bitterness. Palate - light body, oily texture, average carbonation, with long bitter finish. Overall the aroma and appearance is nice, but the finish is too bitter, not what id expect from this kind of beer.

GoufCustom (1918) - HONG KONG - AUG 31, 2016

330 ml bottle with screwed crown cap bought at Ameyokocho on Argyle Street, Mong Kok.

Clear deep amber red colour; One quarter finger head with soapy off-white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Excellent sticky lacing with notable slight carbonation; Fragrant and sweet aroma of amber malt, with strong caramel, toffee, plums, light raisins, very light mustiness, alcohol, light floral, sugar, bread, light lemon and light grass; Medium sweet taste of amber malt, with strong red fruits, cherry, caramel, chocolate, floral, molasses, light bread, lemon, fair bitter hops and grass; Mid to light body. Slick and smooth palate; Mouth feel is good amber maltyness in a fairly solid background. Lots of cherry-like red fruits for nice fruityness. Good caramel and strong molasses for decent sweetness. Quite flowery with lemon to round. Good!... Hoppiness is light floral, light lemon and light grass in nose but stronger in taste; Bitterness is moderate for a lasting, mid to low astringent sweet malty finish; Fairly dry after taste. Fruity sweet and light bitter to mouth.

Comments: This is on the light side of a Dunkel, with amber colour, good lacing, plum aroma and strong red fruit taste. All in fair sweetness and fair hoppiness. Easy to down with a pleasant feel to it, much like other Vilniaus beers. Neat and nice!

Brown beer, medium light beige head. Nose is bready, dried fruit, something almost perfumey and sweet. Flavor is toasty malt, bread, fruit, caramel. Hops and bready-dried fruity sweetness in the finish with diacetyl notes. Diacetly becomes more prominent as it warms up.

33cl bottle from some bottle shop in Vinnius. Pours clear dark amber with an off-white head. Malty and caramelly aroma with notes of dried fruits and vanilla. Sweet and caramelly with hints of acidity and a rather light bitterness. Fairly easy to drink, but a bit too much on the sweet side, but fair enough.
