It’s unclear golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of yeast, wheat and banana/fruit. The sweet flavor has notes of spicy yeast, wheat, light banana and fruit and a touch of citrus in the dry and slightly dry finish. Nice, but could be more powerful.

Not the same as Roehrl Weisse according to this website because this one was less alcohol. 500ml bottle well within best by date, it is a gusher and when you taste it clearly infected, it is like a crappy berlinner weisse. It was only 8 eur for a case though so it should be expected.

Bottle at Papsø’s - Thanks. Cloudy yellow - white head. Wheaty, orange, banana, orange, herbal, light bitter notes. Boring.

Bottle 50 cl. Comes as "Original Vilstaler Weisse". Pours a pale yellow with a slight haze and a white head. The nose is citrusy but also oddly unclean - pooish. Medium body, tart citrusy with a little yeastiness - the banana notes are rather downplayed. Dryish finish. A fairly poor Hefe. 250610
