On tap at SPSBF. Pours a slightly hazy dark brown with a earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice coffee roasty note with dark grains backing and a hint of bitter hops. Flavor has lots of roast and coffee up front that mellow in to a slightly dry dark grain finish. BVery (10609) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Very dark pour with a cream head. Coffee, some bitterness, and dark chocolate. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Has a rather light scent and taste of roast, really smooth and easy drinking though.

Really very respectable porter. Pours rich brown without a ton of head. Chocolate and rich malt front, smooth and rounded finish uninflected by the hops. Rich palate for a porter. Good. Growler. Skyview (6076) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - FEB 9, 2009

Aroma of roasted dark malt, a touch of chocolate and coffee with some floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of chocolate malt, some coffee and floral hops. Finish is malty with very little bitterness. Smooth, creamy with a light chocolate aftertaste.
