It’s a pat on the back, a hip-hip-hooray! Attaboy is our easy-going, medium bodied amber ale with a slightly fruity nose and well balanced malt sweetness.

Great balanced amber, biscuity, mellow with a bright copper colour. Nice tasting brew!

On tap at Vintage Brewpub. Clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma is faint with pale malt and minimal hops. Taste is malted with caramel and pale malt and a faint hop presence.

Sampler flight on tap at Vintage Brewery (Madison, WI). Pours a rich glowing orange amber hue, touches of haze meet richer glowing edges. A frothy tannish head sits atop and dies to a thicker layer with ok lacing. Aromas are gentle toffee and caramel sweetness, touches of toast, carmelization, biscuits. Gentle toffee, some dry florals, earthy bitter hops. Initial is medium bodied, dull and a touch metallic up front, moving into toasty dryness, some black olive, dry cris biscuits. Some floral and earthy hop elements. Middle is a bit bland, simple yet palateable. Offering a mellow sweet and toasty malt element, drying out front toasted elements and dry earthy hops, a kiss of grass, florals, just a touch of citrusy grapefruit offers into finish. Lingering dryness and toast. Solid Amber Ale.

Filtered copper red. Thin off-white head. A mild, doughy session amber. Somewhat watery mouthfeel, mild pleasant hop balance to the thick caramel malts. Displays a touch more balance and complexity than typical brewpub ambers. Crisp finish. Toasty, balances the amber malt well. A solid example.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours deep amber with a small off-white head. Smells a little lactic, with sweet malt, little hop presence, and a bit of fruitiness (cherry?). Not a ton of flavor. Malty with an off-sour flavor. Bready and yeasty. Too carbonated--it bites are really detracts from the beer. Decent body. Not my favorite Vintage brew.

Draft at Vintage. Pours a deep amber, some offwhite sticky head. Nose is lightly hopped, some cherry notes and rich malt. Light caramel. On taste, very biscuity. Seems lacking the firm hop character that would be expected, as well as a fuller malt profile. Some caramel could help. Definitely a decent beer, just didn’t do it for me.

On tap at brewery, pours a clear light amber with a diminishing white head, sweet malt aroma and the flavor is much of the same with touches of caramel and hops in the finish, somewhat of a metallic finish, just ok for me.

Nice red, had some sourness, but I liked it that way. Nice hint of hops aroma and flavor. Not Bad
