From notes. Draft at Vintage. This is a kickin brew. Loads of tropical fruits and citrus mixed with some chocolate. Interesting and awesome!
On tap at the source. IPA pour, or a touch more amber-y. Not much distinction in this one. Sweet malty, but no real distinction to the malt. Sweet fruity some as well. 13. edgallow (4629) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 8, 2017
Draft pours amber with a white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus and some grass. Taste is sweet malts and a hint of citrus. Gespuccian (144) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 2, 2016
Pours golden red, with light, tan head. Nose is hops right off the bat. Identifiable by the nose in a tasting flight. Pine, resin, a touch of grapefruit. Taste is hop-forward, with more of the same pine a citrus, but there’s a thin, mellow caramel malt backing it up. Finishes smooth and light, with hoppy bitterness and crispness. This is a nice beer. deyholla (12583) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 7, 2012
Sampled from the tab at the brewpub. Pours a clear red with a tan head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of light grassy and floral hops with a bit of backing bread. Flavor starts with bread but has some grassy hops and light fruits in the finish.

At the brewery before the penn state Wisconsin game. Go Penn State. Pours a see through red color with a thicker brown head the lingers. Smell is hoppy and floral. Taste Is hoppy throw out with some sweet caramel finish but the hop taste lingers. Nice beer through out. esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 19, 2011
On tap at Vintage brewpub. Fire red with a creamy beige cap that emits some frothy lacing. Aroma of caramel, woodsy hops and some citrus to boot. Taste is woodsy and piney and balanced nicely with crystal malt, mild citrus and a bit of peppery spice. Decent with nominal bitterness. Speaking of better off red, Go Badgers! dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Thirsty Troll Brew Fest. Pour is red tinged amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is exceptionally fruity with underlying notes of caramel and light earth. Flavor shows grapefruit, pineapple, and light berry sitting on top of a fairly substantial malt profile. Overall body is moderate and finishes with some nice clean bitterness. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 10, 2011
On tap at vintage. 4oz taster pour... Reddish caramel brown hue, semi-transparent but just barely, and topped with a creamy off-white head... Smooth malty and an earthy piney bitterness to coincide with the aforementioned... Flavors are mild and earthy with an equal balance of earthy citrus hops and a deeper malt profile. Medium bodied with a mild to medium level of carbonation. BVery (11458) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Mostly clear red-amber pour with a very soapy/clingy off-white head. Huge complex hop nose - pine, citrus, grass - cool. Medium creamy palate. Well balanced multiple-hop taste. Again, pine and citrus, plus some bready malts. Very well done!
