Cask at the Vintage brewpub. Pours brick red with nitro-like white head. Nose is fairly standard: caramel malt, faint Fuggles hops. Whiff of whisky, I think. Hint of oak on the tongue, with sweetish toffee and a touch more of whisky. Surprisingly long finish. Good novelty edition. cbfobes (2888) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - APR 1, 2012
Cask at Vintage, pours a clear dark amber with no head at all, the aroma is actually pretty boring, some malt and caramel with a faint amount of bourbon, the flavor has a distinct finish of whiskey but not much else, some caramel on the front end, interesting.
