On tap at brewery in tulip. Brett is is faint but barrel character is string on the nose; also some figs and dark fruits. Flavor is wonderfully intense but balanced: cabernet and oak from the barrel, but also some sliding brown sugars on the slight carbonation. Brett spideriness and somewhat citrusy (lemon, tangerine) sourness finishes it out. Very pleasant surprise.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent red brown colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was malty. The sour mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a burning dry aftertaste. The tangy flavor contained notes of bitter medicinal Brett cloves mild licorice vinous spices brown malt and fruity. A decent one that I would consider drinking again.

On tap at Vintage. Deep muddy brown. Nose of dark fruit, sour red grape, light vinegar and oak. Flavor is more sour red grape, dark fruit, dry oak, faint vinegar, and some toasted malt. Lingering sour and dry oak. Really good.

Tap at the brewery - this is way better than the base beer, mostly because it is not nearly as sweet - having the sweetness out of the way allows some of the other character to shine through, especially the dark fruit character (plum, raisin) - light tannins and some bretty notes of leather - the alcohol burn is still a bit high, but this is pretty tasty.

On tap at the brewpub - Pours rosy brown with a thin tan ring of head. Nose is tart black cherry with funk and plastic. Taste is plastic and tart cherries, a little sharp, lightly malty and a bit of cherry cola. Soft carbonation and a medium-thin body.

On tap at Vintage 6/7, pours a dark reddish brown with a thin off white head, the aroma has almost wine characteristics at first, dark fruit and a little bit of barrel comes through, not all that funky smelling, the flavor has a tart and fruity front with a dry finish, the dark fruits still show in the finish, interesting beer, I like they are trying stuff like this.
