On cask at the brewpub - Pours hazy reddish brown with a ring of off-white head. Clove and pumpkin on the nose with a bit of mint and cardamon. Huh...didn’t see that one coming. Taste is sweet and syrupy--almost sticky--with apricot, mild pumpkin and a bit of pumpkin spice. Not picking up the chocolate on this one. Harsh carbonation hides the taste a bit. I like the regular Pumpkin Disorderly better. cbfobes (2887) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - NOV 23, 2011
Cask at Vintage, pours a dark reddish brown, aroma is heavy on the spices with notes of nutmeg and cinnamon, the flavor has a decent amount of chocolate mixed in with the nutmeg and cinnamon, some yeast flavors in the finish, different. Brigadier (3760) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - NOV 22, 2011

With so many other good beers to try I shifted modes from full pours to small samples. 4 ounces of this beer was enough to sense that finishing a complete pint might have been tough. It was acceptable but somehow dull. I’d actually rather have the plain jane Pumpkin Disorderly instead.
Aroma / Appearance - A deep red body glows with a soft fringe of head. The scent is more like chocolate pie than pumpkin although hints of spice pop up from time to time. An oaky base is the result of being on cask I suspect.
Flavor / Palate - Watered down the mouthfeel is thinner than I would like. Watery chocolate cream pie, pumpkin spices, nutmeg, and fresh crust come together into an experience that is ultimately forgettable. Even four ounces might have been too much. Fortunately this was the low mark of the evening.
On cask at Vintage Brewpub. Dark mahogany with a creamy thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, pumpkin spices (nutmeg, cinnamon), dark roasted malt and some light pumpkin. Taste is of pumpkin chocolate bread (more so than pie) with bready yeast, pumpkin, spices along with sweet malt and a moderate amount of chocolate. Low carbonation as you’d expect.
