Tap at Vintage. Hazy yellow tan body. Big frothy white head. Not unlike a White IPA, with the banana wheat Hefe tones instead of Belgian Wit yeast, and NZ hops instead of citra. Quite a nice beer. Pleasant tropical hops in the finish. Unique and sessionable. Dogbrick (13027) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazed pale golden color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is wheaty with citrus and malt notes. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal wheat, citrus and toasted malt. The finish is fruity with a citrus and banana aftertaste. Decent overall. 3oz on tap at the brewpub. Mostly hazy golden color. Thin off-white head, leaves great thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp lighter carbonation, light soft. Light slick finish. Drinks kind of like a hefeweizen.. Good banana notes, drinks kind of like a hefe to me. Light spice to me. Good citrus hop on it. Moderate spicy taste, moderate sweet, light bitter. Pretty nice, tasty flavorful wheat ale. Good yeast character. madvike (3264) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 10, 2014
On tap at the brewpub - Pours hazy golden with a foamy white head. Nose is bubble gum, onion, and tropical fruit hops. Real pungent and not leaving much room for the malt other than a sweet wheaty base. Taste is similar--real light, fruity, dank and oniony with lightly sweet wheat malt and yeast. Slick and medium-bodied. Yum--this stuff was really good. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - FEB 16, 2014
On tap at Vintage, pours a hazy gold with a thin head, a lot of citrus jumps out at you at first with some sweet grain at the same time, the flavor is light with some tropical fruit in the finish, easy drinking and lower abv, wouldn’t mind slamming this when it’s warmer out.
