8/10/12. On tap at the brewpub. Clear red pour with a small khaki head. Floral aroma with a nice light tartness. Lightly tart and floral flavor with a nice soft wheat edge. Tasty! agent_511 (159) - - SEP 29, 2012
Excellent beer. Pours a slightly cloudy lovely pinkish color. Spicy, yeasty, saison aroma with a bit of hibiscus also noticeable. Tart from the hibiscus, but not sour. Crisp and smooth on the palate. 1FastSTi (3358) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 2, 2012
Tap at Sugar Maple. Poured to a red hued body from the hibiscus used in it. The aroma was hibiscus and saison. That’s about all that could be said of the flavor too. HOWEVER, and I say with a strong however... this beer was absolutely fantastic. Extremely easy to drink. One would say this is a chuggable beer. This is a very sessionable beer, but also dangerous because the abv is 6.1%. Skyview (6115) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JUL 14, 2011
Received sneak preview of the Hibiscus Saison two days before release, cask drawn at the Vintage brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear dark copper colored brew with a creamy off-white head that leaves behind some excellent lacing. Aroma screams "farmhouse saison" period. Additional aroma of elderberries, toasted dark malt, a touch of apple and hibiscus petals. Taste is very floral and fruity with less medicinal character compared to aroma. Finish has a quick smooth aftertaste with some elderberry, saison yeast, and then a crisp finish. Most excellent. TXBadger (2811) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 19, 2014
Pours a hazy light red almost pink color with pinkish head. Floral notes, spice, and funk on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a wheat note.

On tap at brewpub, this is actually one of the bartender’s own recipe and they ended up brewing a full batch, pretty cool! Pours a light red with a pink head and lacing in the glass, the aroma has a nice fruity touch with some sourness and funk on the nose, the flavor has a strong fruity front with a sour tartness and a dry finish, pretty darn enjoyable. jlruthven (612) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 9, 2012
Draft at Vintage brewpub. Pours a bit disconcertingly purplish-pink, faint pink head. Highly carbonated. Nose is lemon, yeast, wildflowers. Sharp carbonation, hibiscus, fresh berries and a slight lemon hint. Quick, dry finish. Interesting, and almost entirely successful. MrPickles (571) - Waunakee, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 17, 2012
On tap at the downtown Vintage bar. Pours an almost ruby red which I was not expecting. Floral notes on the nose and a clean crisp flavor. This is almost 7% and it drinks like it is 4.
