Keg @ Vintage. Medium amber pour with a small head. Aroma is pretty unique. Loads of ginger, light pepper. Coriander. Toasted grain. Some orange peel. Flavor is dry, spicy, earthy in profile. Hot ginger. Medium body, bright carb. shrubber85 (11506) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - JUN 27, 2016
Draft. Ginger, lemon, coriander, wheat malt and straw aroma. Amber with medium head. Moderately sweet ginger, citrus, coriander, wheat malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Interesting. Ginger dominates. Cousin_Larry (895) - - JUN 11, 2016
Sample at WOBFest 2016. Well, it’s ginger all right. Tastes like a Christmas cookie. I’m glad I only had a sample, though. 12 ounces would be way too much, but it wasn’t terrible in a 3-oz pour. If you buy this, find four friends to split it with you. Homer321 (5142) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUL 23, 2015
Draft. Nose is fruity with a candy smell. Taste is muddled ginger with a faint slickness to it. Overall an interesting beer but not my schtick DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Taster on tap at Old Fashioned in Madison, Wisconsin. Mostly clear orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves respectable, thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly slick texture. Awesome gingerbread aroma up front, great ginger flavor, mixed with citrus hop. Some light caramel, mildly grainy bready malt. Moderate bitter taste, light to moderate sweet, and a nice light zest to it. Light ginger kick. Tasty, interesting ginger pale ale, it tastes like. Tasty, impressive stuff.

Hazy orange color. Ginger and fruit aroma and taste. Some bubblegum flavor, fizzy feel. An interesting beer but not coming across as well defined.

Pours orange with a faint head. Aroma is dominated by ginger and sweet fruit tones. Very sweet with light carbonation and finishes with a spicy sweet kick. Pretty delicious beer overall nuplastikk (6358) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 10, 2013
On tap at Old Fashioned. Unfiltered glowing orange body. Thin, oily head, active carbonation bubbles. Pretty nice as far as ginger beers go, well executed. Hits the mark as a yeasty Imperial Wit, and then adds the complexity of the ginger. Pretty solid, quite drinkable. Fruity tangy ginger notes. Smooth on the palate. Nice. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - MAR 24, 2013
Hazy orange-dark amber. Thin white head, lasting rim around glass. Bigtime ginger all around, some wheat, perhaps honey and a bit of apple. Medium body, Sweet with a nice zing. The ginger steals just a little to much of the show for me. drowland (8888) - Georgia, USA - AUG 10, 2012
8/10/12. On tap at the brewpub. Hazy amber pour with a small khaki head. Light ginger and caramel in the aroma. Light ginger, caramel, and bubblegum in the flavor. Not bad.
