Pours clear brown/copper with a thin head. Light malt aroma. Moderate malt flavors. Medium-light body with a light hop bitter finish. Not bad, I like a little more malt in an Oktoberfest, but this is nicely done. Gespuccian (144) - Wisconsin, USA - OCT 2, 2016
From the lighter ranks of Octoberfest beers in colors. A dark goldenrod pour, some light carbonation. Nose is malt and some breadiness. Taste is not overly sweet; it’s got a slightly sweet biscuity backbone, but this is definitely from the crisper, lighter, more refreshing side of the marzen spectrum. There’s a light bitterness and crispness from German hops on the finish.
