On tap at Vintage. Poured crystal-clear lighter coppery-amber with a dense, sticky cap of white head. The aroma opened with sweet biscuit and fruity notes that were quickly sweetened up by aspartame character.. light earthy accents on the back. The flavor found sweet pale and fruity malts at the core.. increasingly bitter as it progressed, with pine, citrus, and earthy notes present.. that bitterness stuck for a while on the finish. Medium-bodied and sharp-ish on the palate.. just flowed OK. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Sampler flight on tap at Vintage Brewery (Madison, WI). Pours a rich amber hue, good glowing fiery Jurassic Park glow offers some sunfire, orange, and sunset. A frothy whitish head sits atop, dies to a film, laces small. Aromas are good citrusy girth, grapefruit and lemons meet gentle tropical influence, offering mellow mandarin orange, touches of mango, dry bready and pale malts. Rich nose. Initial is lighter bodied offering mellow fruit dominance up front, tropical and oranges, some mellow pineapple. Mellow bitterness grows as we go forward, offering some crisp bready malts, touches of biscuit, toast. Fairly fruit forward and lighter fare, rich grapefruit and tropical melange are enjoyable, a touch of bubblegum and decent bitterness into the finish, yet still fairly clean. Nice. nuplastikk (6456) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 15, 2012
Tap at VIntage. Filtered brown-tan wit a thin creamy off-white head. Smooth malty body, with a little bit of an underlying alcohol. Respectably hopped, but not much going on, a little soapy. Too strong to session, and not complex enough to sip at. Boring. OK. kaser (6382) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 2, 2013
This was poured from a keg at vintage brewing in Madison, WI. Yellow pour with tons of white head. Fruity peach taste. Slight hops. Easy drinker Skyview (6099) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - AUG 22, 2010
On draught at the Vintage brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear copper amber colored brew with a thick and rocky off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of typical Three C’s hops, a hint of caramel malt and some mild spice. Taste is medium bodied, plenty of hops in flavor with a touch of caramel malt. Finish is a touch on the sweet side, nice balanced hop finish and then a lingering bitterness that really comes out in the finish. One of the best "Sneak Bitterness" (ie: increases more bitter during the aftertaste) APAs I’ve tried.

On tap at Vintage Brewpub. Clear amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma is a mix of floral and citrus hops with some caramel beneath it. Taste is more on the floral side with caramel and light citrus. Mild bitterness and a touch of off-flavor on the finish. madvike (3301) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 2, 2010
On tap at the brewpub - Pours rosy amber with a small off-white head. Some grassy, light citrus hops on the nose with a decent malt backbone. Lightly spicy. Taste is sweet malt with lots of grassy, spicy hops on the finish, and a faint sharp alcohol note. Slightly resiny, with real harsh carbonation. Decent balance, but I didn’t dig the hop profile. A bit too spicy for me, which might have worked had the malt not been dialed up so much. My least favorite Vintage brew so far. cbfobes (2891) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - AUG 21, 2010
On tap at Vintage, pours an amber color with a nice white head and lacing, aroma is full of american hops that have a touch of citrus to it, flavor is very bitter and does not have the malt balance I was hoping for, not bad but decent arkurzynski (2463) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 31, 2010
On tap. A very pale amber. Aroma is lighter and more floral of a hop profile. Some deeper grapefruit and pine notes. A little light on the malt backbone, decent bitterness and finish. MrPickles (571) - Waunakee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 25, 2010
Clean golder pour. Very crisp, not sure if that translates right, but I know what I mean. Seems to have a nice balance of the hops and the malts. Nothing lingers too long, which I like. Not sure where this came from but I get hints of butterscotch and nuts in this one...
