On tap at Vintage, pours an amber color with a nice white head and lacing, aroma is full of american hops that have a touch of citrus to it, flavor is very bitter and does not have the malt balance I was hoping for, not bad but decent madvike (3292) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 2, 2010
On tap at the brewpub - Pours rosy amber with a small off-white head. Some grassy, light citrus hops on the nose with a decent malt backbone. Lightly spicy. Taste is sweet malt with lots of grassy, spicy hops on the finish, and a faint sharp alcohol note. Slightly resiny, with real harsh carbonation. Decent balance, but I didn’t dig the hop profile. A bit too spicy for me, which might have worked had the malt not been dialed up so much. My least favorite Vintage brew so far.
