On tap at Vintage brewpub. Murky brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma of pumpkin, malt, nutmeg, allspice, clove and caramel. Spice cabinet come take a seat! Taste of pumpkin, allspice, pepper, nutmeg and heave clove with a pumpkin chaser. A solid pumpkin ale. wchesser (2071) - Denver, Colorado, USA - OCT 9, 2011
Solid pumpkin beer. Very even handed spice renderings and pumpkin. Tastes like autumn. dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 11, 2011
Thirsty Troll Brew Fest. Pour is murky brown/amber with a khaki head. Aroma shows notes of pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of caramel and gingerbread cookies. There is a definate savory quality to the pumpkin they used and plenty of spice to round it out. Overall body is moderate, somewhat sweet, and the finish is spicy. Best pumpkin beer of the festival hands down. pantanap (3366) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 10, 2011
On tap at vintage. 4oz taster. First pumpkin beer of the year... Pours a mostly opaque caramel toffee pour with a minimal wispy light beige head... Aroma of light ginger, pumpkin, and spice. Ok but not too assertive... Flavors are much of the same with an added sense of earthy sweetness. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Fitsthe bill for a pumpkin ale but nothing out ilof the ordinary. BVery (10327) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Tap at the brewpub. Hazy dirty dark gold pour with a thin white head. Awesome aroma of pumpkin, Belgian yeast, cinnamon, and other spices. Medium-light palate, some carbonation. Taste is similar to nose - really good.

Draft at Vintage. Snifter. Thick brown-amber color, minimal head. Spicy cinnamon, herb aroma. A big, spice bomb of a pumpkin ale. Sugary, sweet, but well executed nonetheless. Spices are upfront, but the rich malts incorporate it well. Not spectacular, but still pretty nice. MrPickles (438) - Waunakee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 22, 2010
On tap at the Brewpub. Cloudy brown pour with aromas of pumpkin, nutmeg and whip cream. Not as sweet as the ST, but a good mix of sweetness and spices. One of the best pumpkin beers I have had. triguy84 (235) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 13, 2010
Pours cloudy amber, almost brown, with a thin head. Nutmeg/allspice on the nose, hint of pumpkin aroma. Moderate pumpkin, nutmeg and allspice flavor. Medium-light body. Nicely balanced beer, but too much spice for me. Skyview (5942) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - OCT 11, 2010
On draught at the Vintage brewery/brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy brownish rust colored brew with an off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, cinnamon, hint of nutmeg, clove and some gingerbread. Taste is medium bodied, with caramel and mostly nutmeg. Finish has a lingering toasted caramel malt aftertaste along with nutmeg and some seasonal spices. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 5, 2010
On tap at Vintage. Poured hazy medium amber with a creamy whitish head.. looked great in the glass! The aroma picked up sweeter pumpkin meat and a touch of bread with accents of clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon.. came together nearly perfectly! The flavor found pumpkin meat and pale malts at the core.. tart pumpkin, nutmeg, and cloves surrounded.. sharper on the back-end.. not as well composed as the nose, but close. Well-carbonated with very good feel and flow across the palate.. great stuff!
