On cask at the brewpub. Our server said this was "Smoked Tea Stout". Pours deep black with no head. Nose is meaty smoke with a medium roasty malt base. Dry and balanced with chocolatey notes that offset the medium smokiness. The tea comes across in the taste, drying things out even more. It’s real apparent in the finish, after the smoke recedes it comes in followed by more smoke and dark chocolate. Smooth but flat. And interesting experiment that works pretty well.
