On tap at Vintage Brewpub. Brown with a creamy nitro-pour looking brown head and plenty of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, light chocolate and barley. Taste of dark roasted malt, peanuts, chocolate and a hint of coffee. Smooth with a mild bitter finish. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JAN 30, 2013
From notes. Nitro-tap at Vintage. Burnt toffee and vanilla. Pretty darn good. I would say another home-run from Vintage. cbfobes (2885) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2012
Nitro pour at Vintage 12/29, black pour with a creamy light brown head, the aroma has a good amount of roast and chocolate, the flavor has some coffee on the front end with a finish of sweet chocolate, mouthfeel is a little light and thin, I personally enjoyed last years recipe more, but this is still solid. madvike (3281) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 27, 2012
On nitro at Vintage Brewing - Pours dark black with a creamy light tan head. Nose is brown sugar, vanilla, and a milky medium roast. Lost of chocolate in the taste, cocoa, vanilla, medium roast, caramel, and a bit of milkiness. Sweeter than I usually like, but restrained enough that it’s good in small doses. Real nice mouthfeel from the nitro.
