hotstuff (5158) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 21, 2015
Rated on 7-04-2015 at Vintage Brewing Company. This draft IPA is served with a small beige head that is fully lasting, transparent golden body, fast rising carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, grass, spicy, and caramel malt. The flavor of this beer is very bitter, citrus hops, spicy, light grass, and some caramel malt. The mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. A very quaffable IPA that is quite bitter and hoppy tasting. It is a hop head beer that is worth trying and it is my favorite beer from the flight of beers that I just rated. thedm (6184) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 6, 2015
This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were very long lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent orange colored body and a good lacing. The strong aroma was hoppy. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. The semi-sharp flavor contained notes of wood mild citrus mildly vinous and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - MAY 12, 2015
Bottle from the GTMW Line 2015 (Madison, WI). Pours a hazy dulled amber gold hue, a touch darkened and dulled with frothy offwhite head atop. A firmer ringer sits atop, remains and laces well enough. Aromas are floral and citric, some lively life, earth and gentle bready malts. Firmer juicy tropical Amarilla, graprfruit jabs and florals. Nice. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, bitter and florals, resiny with touches of gentle tropical fruit, earth and gentle bready malts. Some florals, jabs of fruit and grapefruit, some lemon and faint melon, tropical waft. Backend is a bit bitter and dry, citric with a potent hop finish and trail out. While it’s not complex or overly rich, it’s on point, tasty and while a bit girthy on the ABV side of things, it’s a solid beer and pretty fresh and hop driven. deyholla (11605) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 4, 2015
Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a near clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light onion note with pine, grass and some sweet grains. Flavor combines onion and pine with growing resin and some sweet grains underlying. Brigadier (3680) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - OCT 21, 2014

The second sample of a four draft flight offered this solid West Coast style IPA. Worthy of a full pint if there had been time, I would certainly recommend ordering at least a half pour if you come across it on tap in the future.
Aroma / Appearance - A fresh coppery core glows and shimmers with the light of mandarin oranges. A minimal white head soon fades to nothing. Citrus, oranges, and grassy resins tinge the air with bitterness. The hops make their presence known immediately.
Flavor / Palate - Bitter resins and orange zest abrasively clean the palate. A full burst of citrus lingers for quite a while after each sip. The sharp hoppiness cuts through everything with the aggressiveness of a typical West Coast style IPA. This may have been the best draft of the night.
Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden color with a medium white head that burns away steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and roast malt. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, yeast and malt. Slight bubblegum in the background too. The finish is fruity with a yeast and hops aftertaste. I assume this is some kind of Belgian IPA. Decent overall. DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 8, 2014
3oz on tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden, slight orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves loose bits of lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick finish. Smooth, though. Caramel, bready, kind of toasty spicy malt. Good grapefruit hop, some grassiness, bigger zest. Light spice. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, moderate sweet. Solid bigger kind of sweet but tasty zesty spicy hoppy IPA. Tasty stuff to sip on. Kind of like a white IPA. crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 4, 2014
Draft. Has some citrus zest notes and pine bitterness. missing somehting in the aroma and flavor. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2014
On tap at Vintage, pours a clear gold with a thin white head and lacing in the glass, the aroma has a decent amount of citrus and fruit, jumps out of the glass nicely, the flavor has big juicy hops at first with some dank and garlic like hops in the finish, but still light and nice not overbearing, only knock against it is that I wish the abv was turned down a little so I could enjoy a few at a time, pretty good stuff.
