Our deliciously peachy Belgian wheat ale is the perfect antidote to the summer doldrums, with a tempting fresh fruit aroma and juicy sweet flavor, tempered by a mild peppery-spice character from the use of authentic abbey ale yeast. Heres to summer! OG 1.058 19 IBUs 5.8% abv

The last pair of samples were two new beers that werent available on the draft list which I assume means they were very fresh. This one was a nice Belgian that I wish I would have more than a sample of. Meeting the description nearly to the tee anyone near Madison should get this while it is on.

Aroma / Appearance - The honey bronze / coppery mixture had wisps of soft head and a slimy slinky lacing. Ripe peaches, honey, and other aspects give this a tropical feel in addition to its Belgian style roots.

Flavor / Palate - Peaches, cotton candy, and sun tea with a heavy dose of lemons permeate every corner of the palate. The alcohol is easy at first but grows over time to stick in the throat. The chewy mouthfeel is like a melted Twix bar dipped in sprinkles of fruity crumbs. Just thinking about this one makes me want to trade for a growler.

On tap at Vintage, pours a hazy orange/amber with a nice white head and some lacing through out the glass, the aroma had a nice fruity touch with spices that come through, the flavor has a decent amount of fruit on the front end with some malt characteristics in the finish, the mouthfeel is very light and enjoyable, well done Vintage.

Wonderful beer. Lovely peach flavor and aroma. Slight fruity acidity from the peach. Amber yellow color. Spritzy carbonation on the palate. Fun, crisp, spritzy.

On cask drawn during Friday pre-GTMW festival at the Vintage brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy orange amber colored brew with a fast dissipating off-white head that leave behind a thin white ring and no lacing. Aroma of both peach and Belgian yeast, multi-grain malt, and a hint of orange zest. Taste is medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, smooth texture with flavors of a balanced peach and Belgian yeast flavor. Allow this one to warm up a little and more tropical fruit comes through. Finish has a slight medicinal peach aftertaste then a mild banana/peach aftertaste.

On tap at Vintage Brewery. Hazy amber with a thin white cap. Aroma of dark malts, peach, light candi sugar and yeast. Taste is yeasty and cola-like with peaches, candi sugar, fruits and a spicy dry finish.

Draught at the brewpub and from a growler. Hazy medium orange with a one finger off-white head, pretty good retention. Up front is some perfumey peach notes, but hiding right behind is some dry spicy white pepper, and a tinge of dusty banana. Flavor still has some pretty big peach notes, but doesnt carry the sweetness that would make me hate this beer. The dry peppery yeast keeps things in check, keeping this from being a generic crappy fruit beer. A little wheat is discernible in the finish, which was semi-dry. Bitterness peaked at a 2/10. Low prickly carbonation with a light to medium body. Pretty tasty, actually. Long story short, the yeast helps make this beer with the peach banana, and then the dry pepper balances.

8/10/12. On tap at the brewpub. Hazy dark orange pour with a small khaki head. Light fruitiness, peach, and cream in the aroma. Light peaches and cream in the flavor as well with a hint of tartness. Not bad.

Sample at the brewpub. Slightly hazy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates gradually to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Fruity aroma with malt and yeast notes. Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, peaches and yeast. The finish is reminiscent of a fuzzy navel with an earthy yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.
