On cask at Vintage, pours a clear dark reddish brown with no head at all, the aroma is pretty malty and sweet with a little bit of fruit coming through as well, flavor has a really sweet front end and finish, kind of sour almost with a little but of fruit, like the malt and sour is fighting, had better here. nuplastikk (6451) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 7, 2012
Cask at Vintage. Stained-glass brown-amber with a massive, slow fading head..not unlike a Guinness draught in that respect. Sweet, funky, flowery, burnt herbal oddness. An odd beer, some licorice or fennel undertones, very herbal..piny. Cask temperature and accompanying carbonation. Like a tweeked out smoked dunkel gone awry. Odd. Sort of gross.
