On cask at Vintage Brewpub. Hazy amber with a creamy white crown. Aroma of citrus and coriander with spicy peppery yeast. Taste of coriander and citrus with floral hops, light banana and a dry mildly bitter ending. madvike (3301) - Middleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 22, 2013
On cask at the brewpub. The server said this was a blend of their Whippoorwill Wit and their Wooshed Oaked IPA. Definitely get more of a wit feel from the final product. It pours hazy light amber with a thin white head. Nose is soapy flowers, light herbal hops, and a bit of spice in the dry malt base. Taste is the same--spicy and woody, a bit of dry malt, some citrus notes, and a sweet honey finish. Slick and thin in the mouth. The parts are better than the sum here.
