COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The India Pale Ale from Virklund is brewed according to the proud English ale traditions. This pale amber ale has a beutifully balanced bitterness, that doesn't overwhelm, but gives a delicate opposition to the malt sweetness. A classic English ale that will do well on any lunch table, or accompanying spicy dishes, or just as a reward for a job well done.

Bottle. Hazy brown pour, very frothy stable head. If I had a moustache, it would be soaked. Nose is mainly roasted malts. Taste is malty, with a roasted and nutty note. Very abrupt bitter finish, with a hint of IPA. Mostly reminds me of a christmas ale, with a short bitter spike in the end. Average carbonation.

POLK (2219) - Hrning, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2011
Good beer from Virklund brewery, however much carbonation. and one must remember that this IPA is brewed with English hops, so it is not nearly as strong hop as many other IPAs
