3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
En ale på det jævne, har god sødme og lettere humlet, men det er ikke de spændende emner.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
From the very old notes, hence this is not a real rating, but more just a mark to myself that I have tried this at one point. Another typical "viru õlu", was kind of better than some of their other brews.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
50cl bottle from some supermarket in Tallinn. Pours clear deep amber to copper coloured with a quite modest off-white head. Malty and somewhat fruity aroma with caramel, dried fruits and hints of hops. Sweet and malty with caramel and fruity notes, not much bitterness. Drinkable enough but way to sweet for my likings.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Can 0.5 l. In aroma weird caramel smell. In flavor caramel, touch of chocolate. Cascade? I cant find any, both in flavor or aroma. Too sweet, but some dryness in finish. Bad ale. Maybe too alcoholic for style and definetly too sweet.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not your standard APA and definitely not your standard Vienna, and leaning somewhat more towards old English IPA. It’s rather confusing at first, because you get the color of a Vienna/Classic, but the aroma of some good American hops (Cascade) and the taste of a sweeter IPA. Let’s just for the record, be clear that this is in NO WAY an Amber Lager as described here at Ratebeer. It’s a deviant of the Pale Ale family.. Whether it’s an IPA or APA, I’ll let you decide for yourselves..
Amber color, well lasting off-white head and a brilliant smell of dough and yeast and elder and hop fields.. From the smell you’d expect something way more flowery and hoppy than what you actually get. The sweetness is overwhelming because of it, and it may turn you off if you expected a real American Pale Ale with all it’s freshness and crispyness to follow. GB FinAle get’s too heavy too soon.. To sweet and fills you up like a Double Double with the works, and you’d rather go home and sleep than carry on drinking.
A good brew, but in the world of fusion and confusion, it ultimately lacks charm and sparkle, and it does feel stronger than it is (6.5%)

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A dark amberclear body with a minimal head. Nose is mild with some caramelly malty notes. Taste is quite sweet with a strange herbal minty note to it, the finish is mildy dry. Carbonation is soft and the palate is fairly rich but not annoyingly thick. The taste is quite unusual, a little like underberg or something and the nose is way too mild.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle from Tallinn. Dark amber colour, medium frothy off-white mostly lasting head, fair lacing. Heavily malty aroma of nuts, caramel and cassis with moderate resiny hops. Taste is initially moderately sweet with a hint of bitterness turning into a bittersweet finish with a slightly acetic feel. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very pleasant aroma, taste was a bit unbalanced towards sweetness, certainly not a vienna lager, more like some kind of a cross between English and Belgian ale.
