Bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of yeast, burnt plastic and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Pretty nasty but maybe a bad bottle. Didn’t seem infected but I expect better than this from Viven.

(Viven Blond) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip. ABV 6.1% Orange coloured body, clear, with a tall, thick, white head. Good retention, heavy lacing on the glass. Grains on the aroma, floral notes. Sweet taste at first, lots of floral notes, less grains, light yeast, light perfume. Medium thin body, average carbonation. Good dryness on the palate. Quite good.

danielyabu (1668) - União da Vitória, BRAZIL - OCT 28, 2014
large fizzy white head. excellent lacing. mostly lasting. sparkling hazy thick dark yellow body. aroma: moderate malty, caramel, orange, lime, cinnamon. if: moderate sweet. ff: moderate sweet light bitter; long duration. palate: light medium, watery texture, lively carbonation, metallic chalky finish. Aroma metálico surge como defeito, mas bem cheirosa, em geral – passa de adocicado a azedo em um segundo momento. Saboroso dulçor frutado (lembra pêra), com leve fundo maltado e caramelado. Background com forte metalizado surge como defeito. Amargor gredoso atenua um pouco aquele defeito, balanceando o dulçor até o final do gole. Traz o charme belga. Após aquecer, o metalizado diminui. 60 s

Heldere gouden kleur met een volle kraag. Ruikt, mout, pils, hop. Smaakt zoetig, verder weinig bijzonder.
