Shared bottle with Mad Dog Helsdon at the Only Cafe during the Toronto Rate Beer Sobriety Memorial night. Pours dark & sharp. A chewy bubblegum style IPA. More perfume on the hops than Cougar Nite at the local singles bar. Pretty sure this was the final nail in the following days hangover.

Drank at the East Meets West and Drinks Too Much event at the Only. Split a bottle with the vociferous and astute Mr. Freaky_tiki. I usually just ogle the amazing bottle beer selection at the Only while drinking too many of whats on tap. Pours a cloudy red-orange (keeping the questionable bar lighting in mind.) Offers a creamy malt nose with a resin hoppiness. The taste has some nice caramel flavors but is dominated by a resin and perfume hops, with some bittering that carries though to the aftertaste. No too bad.

Bottle from abv. Pours a cloudy dark copper color with a large white head. A big sweet fruity candy and hop nose. Dank bitter hops, rye, juicy, caramel, yeast, a bit of candy. A bit of warmth. Very sweet.

On tap at St Veronus. Opaque orange/brown bodybwith thick bubbly off white head, quickly disapating leaving spotty lacing. Strong pine notes, grapefruit, grass, orange zest. Elevated alcohol and it presents a subtle warmth on the finish, very well integrated.

Long lasting foam. Weak hop aroma. Lack of taste. Aftertaste rather bitter. Not a bad beer but you can find better for an IPA

11.2 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a transparent brazen copper-orange color, one finger foamy off white head formed but did not lace upon the vessel. Aroma of pine, citrus, caramel, resin. Hits the mouth with a high-medium body, malt is not overly sweet- which is refreshing, middle has a fine and good size hop wave, finish is acidic with waves of sweetness that dont seem to end. Interesting.

Pours clear orange-amber with a huge, off-white head. Not surprisingly, this beer is all about hops. Aroma is citrus, resin and floral hops. Medium sweetness with nice caramel flavors, but then resiny and citrusy hops dominates. Finishes with a long resiny hop bitterness. Medium-full body with a slick mouthfeel and average carbonation. Overall, pretty tasty brew. Not the most complex imperial IPA, but certainly has a good balance of hop to malt.
