Bosskie (923) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 3, 2017
Brown-copper colour, opaque with a white head and nice bubbliness. Smell is subtle and elegant with hay, flowers, grapefruit citrus, pineapple, some yogurt and raw nuts. Touch of resin and caramel. Taste is full and sticky, bitter with subtle underlying heavy sweetness. Refreshing with an astringent finish which doesn’t go over the top. Nice!

Bottle served in a glass, this ale was a burnt orange in the glass with amber hues, some haze in the beer, it had a cover of creamy, off-white and yellow bubbles that was lasting, it left nice spots and partial rings of lacing, the nose had aromas of caramel, malt, bread and sugar with grapefruit citrus and earthy hops, a little toasted malt, the flavors were citrus and herb hops with toasted malt, caramel, some grapefruit and orange, malt and sugar sweetness, it had a medium or more hop bitterness with a little malt following, hop bite hung around, the mouth feel was light medium to medium, it was very creamy feeling on the lips, generous carbonation, an ok drink.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Viven glass; from the fridge. Woaw. A superb and nice Imperial IPA, with a beautiful copper colour and a superb white head. The aroma is full of floral hops and spices. As for the taste, it’s really hoppy and refreshing, with some spices notes too. Go for it !

Sampled from the tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear orange with a gold hue and a near white head that dissipates to the edges slowly and laces. Aroma has grass and earthy pine with a grain backbone. Flavor has lots of earthy pine with grass and bread notes underlying.
