mutz (1073) - NETHERLANDS - APR 28, 2014

fkoolen (1216) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - APR 27, 2014
Pitch black, stable brown creamy head. Lots of roasted, woody malts in the nose and taste with coffee, cacao and vanilla. Aftertaste?s a bit dry, smoke and cacao linger. Lively mouthfeel with relatively high carbonation for a porter. Medium bodied. Enjoyable rounded porter.

Jalla Jalla Falla Du CONDO! This is an old log that I’m filling in so I do not remember the specifics of the tasting.

rikstar (2604) - NETHERLANDS - APR 19, 2014
Zwart met een volle bruine schuimkraag geroosterde mout in de geur en smaak met een redelijk volle afdronk nice

TBone (17545) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 18, 2014
Bottle 330ml (BDLX)
Dark brown color, steady small brownish head. Aroma has toasted malts, a bit of smoke and tart notes. Medium-bodied. Sweetish malty, some tar and smoke. Light hoppy note. Quite special Belgian beer but it is of course brewed by Proef who know the stuff.

Maakun (5577) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - APR 17, 2014
Thick black with nice creamy light brown head. Lots of smoke, quite meaty, toast, some chocolate and apricot fruitiness. Quite dry and bitter in the finish, medium bodied with creamy feel and slight watery towards the end. Quite nice.

SPDickerman (1239) - Texas, USA - APR 11, 2014
UPDATED: APR 16, 2014 Pours pitch black with a medium tan head. Smells mildly smokey with hints of chocolate. Taste is smokey with hints of roast and sweet malt. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Viven Smoked Porter finishes with a mild smokiness.

Trappist1 (646) - Diest, BELGIUM - APR 9, 2014
black color, full brown head. nose: roasted malts, coffee, mocha, candi sugar, but also something metallic in the back. taste: roasted to even burned malt, chocolate. bitter finish, little bit too much carbonated, lively, lacks punch.

MonsterMagnet (1454) - NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2014
Bottle. Black with tan head. Aroma of smoke, tarmac, butterscotch. Taste: smoke, coffee, chocolate, some vanilla and cheese. Bitter, smooth, pretty smokey porter.

Moolesen (565) - NETHERLANDS - APR 5, 2014
Bottle 33cl. Black with a brown head. Nose: smoked bacon, tarmac and some liquorice. Strong taste of smoke, but at the same time subtle. This is a very nice beer. Long finish.
