JoeinDahlem (1597) - Berlin, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 21, 2017 Rich if classically moulded ruddy-brown dubbel, leaning on caramelized sugar tastes with touches of roast and spice. Mild bitterness, light doughy acidity and alcoholic tingle help to balance the sweetness. Tastes like many others but could be far worse.

Good Belgian Dubbel, dark rich in taste, yet standard compared to the many peers in Belgium.

Taste: little sweet, oxidized, some caramel, pretty bitter, some sweetness, metallic. Aftertaste: caramel, sweet touch, pretty bitter hops, metallic, bit spicy, banana, alcohol, yeast.

erickok (6036) - Leuven, BELGIUM - NOV 1, 2015
Brown body, frothy instable head. Cookie, toast. Medium sweet, toasty malts, bit yeasty toughness. Richer than I faired, actually, although the taste is still a bit bland and light alcoholic. Palate is correct, ending short. Good start, nice malts, but eventually underwhelming. (33cl bottle from ABS Drinks)
