December 2007, from BA: Brown 33cl bottle, best before? Not sure, so drank both the bottles I had, this review is a combination of those beers. Poured into a Corsendonk tulip glass it has a small white head that soon sinks down into a scummy looking wisp. The body of the beer is an orange cloudy, light amber colour, not very appetizing really. The aroma was of sweet and sour fruits, pineapple and citrus together, with the sweeter smells winning the battle. Fruit juice with a kick, strange mix of flavours, couldnt pick a true taste comparison, not unpleasant though. Fairly thin in the mouth, plenty of life but something missing in action. Didnt really know what to make of this beer, I enjoyed the first one more than the second, which is unusual for me, as i said earlier, something missing for me.

330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Tallinn)
Very rich malty light grain aroma, is this emmer or something?, a bit nutty and pulsey, some floral aspects. Misty light orange, small somewhat persistent white head. Light malty taste, a bit nutty and grainy. Bird seed is an idea that passes through my mind as I sip. Light palate, drinkability quite refreshing. Finish does show some delicate floral hops. Right now, I find this very uninspiring, perhaps a bit too raw with the pulsey graininess?

Tsja, saai blond bier, wat bitterzoet, aroma en smaak. Had ook wat kaas op wat de smaak niet ten goede komt. Weinig kraag. Smaak is wat alcohol achtig, meer dan een zweem van dat dikke weeïge.
