COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask. Hops dominate in this straw coloured pale ale. A foundation of biscuit maltiness is overlaid with a high bitterness from 4 hop varieties added at 4 different stages of the brew that also offers a floral, herby aroma complemented by the bready character of the yeast.

July 2017 - Cask at John the Unicorn, Peckham. Short review with Teresa, Jess and Johnny. Paired with lamb belly. Amber orange, still and clear, foamy off-white head. Aroma is bready, a little woody, bagel. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is citrussy, bread crusts, slightly salty, rusk biscuit and resin. Quite decent, but the food wasn't great. Distinctly cloudy. Could be by design or the pub not giving it long enough to settle. Clearly not off though. Pretty standard for its type, although perhaps a tad more citrus than most golden ales. OK but no wow factor.

Half pint, cask at Westow House Crystal Palace. Bright golden-brown body. Bubbly ring to the rim of the surface. Herbal hoppy aroma with notes of malty sweetness. Bread and caramel to the taste profile. Ends with a touch of semi-sweet earthy malts. Pretty nice (28.11.2015).
