COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our one more novelty has sought it’s inspiration in the true heart of Europe. The Belgian style wheat beer BLOND is full of citrus, fruity and spicy aromas, characterised by a well-balanced combination of sweetness and sourness with a subtle tinge of orange flavour. The beer BLOND is of a cloudy light wheat color (which is a sense justifies it’s name), summerly refreshing and light with only 4.5% of alcohol.

Pint can - Pours a hazy, very pale yellow with a smallish head. Strong, mango aroma. Taste of mango concentrate with some spices. NIce mouthfeel and a decent finish. Interesting and likable.

568ml can from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours cloudy pale yellow with a medium-sized stable white head. Aroma is apricots air freshener, bubble gum. Taste is heavy sweet, artificial apricot flavouring, wheat, light bitterness. Overly sweet but still quite drinkable.

Rex_Remes (288) - Bonyhad, HUNGARY - JUN 4, 2017
(500 ml can, Beijing) AROMA: significant peach/apricot, sweet, fruity, smells more like an apricot cocktail than beer. APPEARANCE: slightly pale, straw yellow with a touch of oranginess, decent billowy white head that reduces quickly TASTE: fruity, artificial, some underlying wheat and yeast, fruit characteristics override any maltiness, strange. PALATE: not very frizzy, kind of flat, a bit oily/creamy, light body, small small touch of bitterness on the end. OVERALL: not what I was expecting. Light in body, heavy in fruitiness, seems more like a Radler type beer made with apricot soda. I guess refreshing on a hot summer day, thirst quenching, but below average as far as beers go.

500ml can (Rimi,
Really fruity aroma, wheaty and orange, sweet. Not really a wit. Sweeter taste, fruity, but more cleaning products. Pale hazy orange, brief spongy head. Lightish palate, some sweetness, moderate carbonation. Too sweet, and so not a wit. However, remarkably drinkable, I almost feel guilty glugging it so uncritically. Finished Anna’s glass too. Maybe I’m just thirsty.

Holmen1 (6742) - Stavanger, NORWAY - MAY 6, 2017
Decidedly underwhelming.

Can shared with JMD at HNB 06.05.17. Greenish pale hellow. White head and lacing. Strong aroma of perry, perfume, wine gum and meadows. Similar, sweet and fruity taste.
