Bottle from volg in Switzerland. Nose is citrus, orange, grass. Palate is bitter. Watery citrus, earthy finish. Meh

0.5l can from volg in stein am rhein. pours a clear pale golden with a frothy head. aroma of hay and grains, pretty straightforward lager. flavour of grass, citrus, vegetables, slightly metallic. watery.

Really not a bad beer considering I was running out of options and stumbled upon Volg. Far superior to equivalent priced UK lagers. Trust the Swiss!

4.8% alk. Još jedna supermarket piva iz Švicarske. Lanac supermarketa se zove Volg. Jeftina, uobičajeno loša.

tezarak (121) - Lengnau, SWITZERLAND - FEB 4, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 8, 2017 Standard Swiss Lager: watery and lacking any real character. Still much better than most of the others (and also cheaper).

Pindoc (122) - SWITZERLAND - SEP 7, 2014

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - FEB 22, 2013
The head is unrobust, the body blond and light. It smells cheap, hoppy. The taste is cheap, hoppy, malty. Not that good. 7/4/4/4/9/4

Koelschtrinker (22499) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - JAN 3, 2013
Weitestgehend geschmackloser Antrunk. Kaum besser im Mittelteil, minimal getreidig, mild, langweilig. 10/8/7/6/3/6

Marduk (8832) - Reval, ESTONIA - AUG 20, 2012
0,5l can. Clear golden color. Small white head appears. Malty, metallic, faint sweet aroma. Malty, grainy, sweetish flavor.

JorisPPattyn (10138) - BELGIUM - OCT 2, 2009
Medium, dense, just off-white head over clear metallic golden beer. Herbal/light grassy nose, fresh malts - but none too many... Ureum, malt, slightly toasted; end is more herbal, grassy, near-spicy, but not really bitterish and rather watery. Faint stickyness, bit slick, but quite light body, spritzy. Doable - for what it is.
