Enjoyed at the brewery on Easter 2017 trip. Pours a hazy light golden colour with a warm cap, nice stay with decent lace. Yeast nose with spices (cloves), caramel and hints of bananas. Taste of bananas and light bubblegum with very mild spices. Wet mouthfeel with a slight dryness. A decent wheat beer. jrodooo5 (1774) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUN 26, 2017
Typical hefe - boring as hell! Weak aroma, lacking in flavor, ok mouthfeel, & overall bland! Not recommended! bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUN 13, 2017
Pours a hazy bold orange golden color with a finger plus of white foam. Nose is wheat heavy with some underlying fruit, apricot, citrus, clove, crusty bread. Palate follows and is pretty true to style with nice balance of flavors. Spicy yeast esters ride into a bitter buckwheat honey midpalate wrapped in light undertones of apricot, banana and lingering clove. Renobob (2063) - Besançon, FRANCE - APR 2, 2017
Bue à la pression. Blanche trouble. Mousse épaisse onctueuse. Nez à fond sur la banane. Palais style blanche allemande très bien fait. Pain, banane, fruit jaune, levure. Ronde et douce au palais. canary dog (784) - Rutland, Vermont, USA - JUL 23, 2016
I can’t say I really enjoyed this. It just doesn’t have the depth and subtlety of a true German Hefe. It’s a little too sweet or something....I don’t know, I just can’t put my finger on it. I am going to try it again, however, and will re-rate if warranted.

Light banana and yeast aroma. A hazzy yellow and orange body. White head that lasts awhile. Has friendly but zesty lemony orange taste. Tart with a soft dry finish. Enjoyable and refreshing. BeerFanDan17 (1124) - Brunswick, Maine, USA - APR 18, 2016
Nice Hefeweizen, but not as flavorful as the unfiltered variety. Hints of banana and light apricot. Pours golden with a medium head.

Bottle from Brewtopia. CLoudy golden orange with lasting head and lace. Clovey spicy aroma with some wheat tang and light banana. Peachy malt with grass and wheaty tang and fairly long assertive spicy citrus mineral grassy bitterness. Medium light fairly soft body. I like my hefes sweeter with more banan esters and less bite in the finish. Had high hopes for this. Oh well, back to Paulaner even though it’s not as fresh.

12 oz. bottle purchased at Prost. Hazy lighter yellow color, decent head retention. Aroma is light citrus, mild banana with a bready malt hint. Bulk_Carrier (6064) - Vermont, USA - MAR 3, 2016
The flavor shows the German yeast character that you would want in the style. Body is lighter and not having a chewy yeast texture. Pretty much standard for the style. Decently made but can’t stand next to the older German examples in style. No flaws or problems.
On tap at Growler Garage.
This was poured into a sample glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow to orange color with a slight transparency about it. Carbonation seemed to rise at a nice pace.
The smell had some nice sweet lemon, light banana, light Belgian spices all combining really nicely.
The taste copied the smell very nicely. Sweet fruity aftertaste leads into a sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs smooth and light.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good witbier. I don’t see it as a hefeweizen, still one to come back to.
