Bottle 33cl @ home.
Light unclear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, dark berry - craneberry, moderate yeasty, woody. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (060708)

33 cL bottle. Pours dark and clear amber/brown with a huge tan head. Light malty and yeasty aroma. Dry and woody flavour. Light metallic edge. Light berry fruity flavour, minor sour note from this but really only minor. Nice lingering yeasty and fruity finish.

The aroma is sweet with notes of plums, malt, canesugar, and caramel. The color is brown and it has a light brown head. The flavor is dry woody combined with a malt sweet and notes of canesugar. A really good beer.

Draft at Ølbaren. Clear orange brown coloured with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of butter, red wine and wood. Very sweet flavour of red wine with notes of wood and hops.

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma of malts and plum, but still quite bitterish. Flavour is metallic, malts and plum. Some spices also there, but the metallicness is ruining the flavour.

omhper (25564) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - APR 6, 2003
Bottled. Dark chestnut brown with smallish head. Richly malty with hints of toffee and black cherries. Sweet with just a hint of the balsamic acidity usually dominating flemish browns. Syrupy finish.

Dark sweet beer. Coca cola like with a sour malt undertone. Frothy dry finish with a nice carbonated snap.

UPDATED: JAN 8, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) 8% ABV in my version. A reddish amber-colour, hazy, quite some yeast from the bottle fermentation. Yeasty nose also, very malty and pleasant. 160593

Gut! 7/12/11/12//12

Beautiful ruby-amber color. Malt aroma. Caramel and liquorice over all; ends somehow thin and drier than my favorites. Short palate.
