UPDATED: NOV 4, 2014 Bottle from Ryan, thanks! 2013 release. Pours black with a small beige head, rests down to a ring. Aroma has a nice blend of barrel/brandy notes and dark chocolate. Taste has dark chocolate, roasted malt, cocoa powder and more bourbon like notes than brandy. Medium bodied, smooth carbonation and mouth feel. Pretty boozy/hot/harsh after taste.
A bit too hot and also heavy on the herbal bitterness in the after taste, otherwise pretty nice.

Bottle... Pours nearly black with a small, creamy, khaki head. Decent retention. The aromatic standouts are fudge and bourbon moreso than apple brandy. Medium-bodied and silky with lazy carbonation. The flavor offers tons of apple brandy and some roasted tree nuts. A bit boozy in the finish. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

Cocoa, sweetened coffee, metallic, toasted malt. Sharp bittersweet taste with a lingering bitter finish. Smooth, a little vinous, full bodied.

Woodshed 3.0! Big thanks to dak for saving this whole series and sharing with us. Awesome!! Bottle pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a minimal head. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, a mineral sensation, stale maple wood, sweet molasses, coconut and brandy booze. The taste has dark roasted malts and some chocolate coming forward first and then heading into some boozy brandy that is a bit on the rough side. To midway this gets better as pleasing chocolate and toffee rise up and take this into the finish but never really covering up the modest rough booziness. A few more sips reveals marshmallow peeking out from amid the booziness from time to time. Pretty nice sipper.
