Keg @ Mikkeller & Friends. Black pour with a small dark mocha head. Pleasant roasty impy & bourbon nose. Sweet, bitter & malty taste. Soft & round mouthfeel. Vanilla & hint of green chilli. Sweetness seems more balanced than in the rye barrel version.

4 oz. draft Copenhagen Beer Celebration, Boston, 23 September, 17. Iridescent shine over the black liquid, Tan head.Aroma substantial amounts of bourbon, mild brownie batter, dark roast. Flavor is full of bourbon with a nice chocolate brownie batter base. Bourbon is forward with a warming after the sip. For the strength of the alcohol is is not overwhelming. This is flat out awesome!

Backlog z Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017. Oboże, cudowna, totalnie intensywna i bogata beczka plus bardzo gęste, truflowo-pralinowe piwo bazowe. Miłość.

(On tap @ Mikkeller and Friends, Copenhagen, May 11/17) Pours black with a tan head. Notes of sweet dark chocolate, dark toffee, fudge, vanilla, bourbon, light coconut, some wood, moderate roast, a bit of coffee, pretty rich and unctuous, a bit of a liqueur feel to it, rather sweet overall with some balance from roast and wood, pretty long aftertaste. Medium-full bodied, a bit syrupy, very soft carbonation. Really nice stuff, a big stout with a big barrel, I thought it was similar to the Buffalo Trace version in almost every respect but didn’t seem quite as smooth.

Intense, dark chocolate, cacao, nutty. Black, no head. Medium sweet. Rich bourbon, chocolate, sweet, dark fruits, caramel, toffee, soft carbonation, full bodied. Beautiful Impy, rich and complex, great palate. Keg at MBCC Red Session, Copenhagen.
