Draft at Al’s of Hampden. Pours black with a khaki head. Leaves a shitload of lacing. Lovely chocolate and lactose notes on the nose and tongue. There’s also a lot of roasted flavor coming through. Very balanced and very quaffable.

First sip didn’t impress but faded to a great taste which continued. Great, smooth nitro stout with lingering coffee and chocolate. Give it 2-3 sips. Can’t shine a phone light through it either; 10 Kausits units on the opaque beer scale.

Pours black with thick brown head. A strong chocolate aroma with some coffee. A milky body with a strong chocolate taste with some coffee, grains, and malts. The chocolate taste is intense, sweet and lingers as part of the aftertaste.

Sampled at the brewery during RBSG. Pours a dark brown being nearly black with a tan head. Nose of milk chocolate. Medium to full body and a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Flavor is roasted malts, lots of chocolate, and a bitter finish. Very nice

on tap @ Voodoo / Homestead PA --- Opaque black color, full tan head, stripes of lace. Taste is smooth, milky toasted malt that grows into rich chocolate after a mildly fizzed swallow. A lingering chocolate and malt finish. Rich and balanced and quite good.

a muddy oreo brown color with resilient 1 finger chocolate covered head that sticks around due to the nitro. Holy hell, this smells like dessert. Brownie and chocolate fudge sunday. The lactose sweetness hits you immediately and lingers. taste is not as good as the aroma but you still get a milk chocolate sweetness, fudge, vanilla and maltiness of an irish stout. Surprised the ABV is over 8%

Draft pour at the source. The beer is a clear brown with no head. Milk chocolate and dry ashy notes in the aroma. Toffee and nuts come through int the taste. Medium body, low carbonation.

On tap @ Homestead location, RBSG 2016. Nearly black. Aroma of Whoppers (malted milk balls). Sweet, very sweet palate with the same flavours, hints of cherries, low bitterness. Sweet but with a flavour profile that appealed to me.

Ferris (16105) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2016
Draft - Sweet dark chocolate malts. Jet brown with a small white head. Dark sweet chocolate and a nice milky sweet finish.
