Bottle split on day 1 of Coconut/Cinnamon Death 2017. Pours pitch black with a small dark brown bubbly head. Aromas of maple, dark chocolate, sort of off cinnamon, fruity chili.Taste has cinnamon, maple but a huge overpowering chili heat. Absolutely undrinkable. Bad bottle?

Bottle. Pours opaque black with minimal brown head which soon recedes. Aroma is chillies and some odd cinnamon. Taste is spicy chillies, cinnamon spice, a lot of spice heat that overpowers everything.

VsXsV (4387) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JAN 6, 2017
Bottle. Opaque black liquid with small tan head. Aroma of raw sugar, coconut, cinnamon, bourbon, light chili, coffee and raw sugar. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of chili, bourbon, chocolate and raw sugar. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Too much adjuncts and chili. Nice but not perfect.

RBSG 2016 shared at the Grand Tasting. Bottle. Near black, viscous and dense. Complex and intense, with big flavours: dark chocolate, heaps of bourbon-vanilla, prominent toasted coconut, cinnamon, roasted marshmallow, with chilli heat in the finish. Just awesome, a real standout.

Dark pour, fair sized head. Amazing aroma, pastry sweetness, bourbon, pepper, roasted malt. Pepper up front quickly gives way to roasted malt, lighter bourbon nots, wood, maple, cinnamon. Thick gody. I could spend hours with this bottle...consensually of course.

dark black, red edges. smells like cinnamon apple and vanilla. taste is similar. this is like a cinnamon milk shake with whiskey thrown in. its kind of unique in that way. a dessert beer with a lot of booze that doesnt hide how boozy it is with a really awesome cinnamon and creamy flavor.

Bottle at RBSG Pittsburgh 2016. Dont know who shared this but thank you so much. This was one of my favorite beers of the weekend, if not #1. After not being very impressed by most of the beers we had at Voodoo during our tour, I was ambivalent about how this might be but it really blew me away. So many awesome aromas and flavors-- cinnamon, chilies, maple, bourbon, vanilla to the max. Incredibly well rounded and I just want to drink more. One of the best BA Imperial stouts I have ever had. Fuck yes.
