COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pilzilla, a beer Matt has dubbed a bastardized German, Czech, Polish Pils. There are a lot of things going on in the dudes head, man. It carries all the traits that they call for in a beer and then voodooized. This is a fun, unique interpretation of the beer that Matt fell in love with in Europe. It will take on it own identity and grow each year in varieties of hop and alcohol. Soon to take over Tokyo. Not yet in theaters near you.

Ingredients: premium German 2 row barley, dash of Vienna, 9 varieties of German, Czech, and Polish hops. Out house lager blend of yeast.

Pours yellow color with a thin head to it. Has a fruity, hoppy smell to it. Taste is some what similar with the hops showing nicely in the back.

A robust pilsner, if there is such a thing. Hoppy and a little more bitter than expected. Clean malt and cereal, light grass and fruit. Not bad.

on tap @ Voodoo / Homestead PA --- Clear medium amber color, beige head that drops to a thin rim, strands of lace. Taste is slow-release malt and carbonation that grows bigger and sweeter after the swallow. It then adds mild, palate-drying hops in a medium length finish. Its okay, but hardly memorable.

Dark gold appearance. no head. mmm smells great. It helps that I love pilsener beers. wheat, oats, loads of euro-hops. mouthfeel is a little thin, the beer is also being served pretty warm. Flavor, onslaught of rustic woody bark-like hops with a slight sweetness that impales you with pine resin and just dank-ness. not west coast, still like a total saaz bomb but it is not overly refined.

On tap @ Homestead location, RBSG 2016. Hazy golden, average white head. Biscuity, bready pale malts, spicy hop character with crushing bitterness. I enjoyed it more than I expected.
