FROTHINGSLOSH (8069) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 30, 2016
Sampled on draft at the Homestead location this beer poured a dark golden color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with notes of sugar, yeast and light fruity hops. The flavor was tangy and sweet with notes of table sugar, yeast and mild fruity hops. Unassuming but remarkably pleasant. Medium length finish and smooth medium body. I could drink a lot of this one.

Pours a clear dark straw yellow with little to no head. Not much of an aroma. Somewhat thin and watery with little flavor. Very plain and unremarkable. Nothing special about this beer.

At the bocktown. A little tart smelling. Looks like pale lager. Unique flavor from the start. Saddle leather with a slight tartness inthe background. Laid back hop thing happening here. Yes, becomes a dull bitter thing as the session continues, in the back of the throat. Not sharp like a pilsner. Could have a few more manners.

MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUN 8, 2014
hazy gold, tepid with thinnest white ring as head. Dusty honey nose, lightly metallic, gluey booze grows with warmth, sweetness as well, papery hints. Front palate slick with booze, light dough with dusty grain. Mid is hot, toast and light lemon coating before dusty finish. Thin and sticky, metallic minimal carbonation sticks mouth.

This poured a straw yellow with a white head. Aroma of grass, pale grain and noble hops. Flavor was bitter noble hops, some crachery character too. OK.
