16 oz. can shared by seeswo - thanks again, Chris! Pours a hazy yellow gold with a small white head that settles into a ring, leaving a few spots of lace in the glass. Big aromatics, with notes of tropical and citrus fruits, weed-like herbs, sweet and bready malts, and some faint pine and florals. Maybe a hint of booze. Flavor is a more subtle version of the nose. Medium-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet, fruity, subtly bitter mouthfeel. In line with this NEIPA trend, and a really good one, at that. On tap at HOTB. Pours a fairly clear orangey yellow with a slight bone white head. Aromas of candied orange, light mango and other tropical fruits but also a bunch of booze. The high abv isn’t hidden well like in other voodoo beers. Decent, but better to stick below 8% hoppy voodoo beers. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 15, 2014
This poured a lightly hazy orange color with a white head. Aroma was of candied fruit, light tropical character and booze. Flavor was similar, definitely just galaxy, cat pee and dank, but so freaking bitter it’s hard to.enjoy a lot.
