RBSG 2016 shared at the Grand Tasting after-party in the hotel lobby. Bottle. Deep mahogany hue. Big bourbon aroma and flavour, sweet and woody, very boozy with spirits over malt, chocolatey undertones. cheap (5793) - Beaver Valley, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2016
RBSG PGH 2016, what a happening! Sweet cloying volatile aroma. Big & black. Flat but yet it comes across large and in charge. Guess what? King tut? No. Chicken but? No. The answer is; this is another whiskey barrel soaked beer concoction all the way. If I want whiskey, I’ll buy a shot. If I want beer, don, flavor it with whisky. In Pgh we call a beer soaked with whisky a boiler maker. Go figger. Alky never hides, volatile warming sensations for a finish. AdamChandler (4977) - Enfield, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 22, 2016
Black, oily Bottle #202 with a small head that faded quickly. Aroma is just a total bourbon bomb. smells really really good. Well damn, this is actually quite impressive. Not buying into the whale stuff lately but this is sweet, very decadent like a chocolate pie with whip cream, vanilla, coconut, nutty with this finish hat’s lingering smoke, caramel and coconut. mouthfeel is almost syrup like with some tiny tight carb bubbles. Very nice. jtclockwork (16436) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 20, 2016

Bottle. Briwn color, clear. Nice edge of vanilla and whiskey aroma. Taste is pure whiskey, no beer left. djd07 (14358) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 16, 2016
Bottle thanks to Art at RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong bourbon, wood, vanilla, ash. Thick, chewy, roast, wood, chocolate, boozy finish, very good. Nate (4279) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 16, 2016
From bomber (#202, 2015), RBSG grand tasting. Beautiful nose on this, licorice, bourbon, oak, and chocolate. Medium chewy with medium carbonation and alcohol warming. Dark brown-black with no head. Starts with tons of whisky flavor, oaky with chocolate syrup gritty character, licorice, and coffee. Just a well balanced aged beer now, with a good bit of bitterness. Very nice one.
