Bomber from Capones, Norristown. Nice pale gold pour, typical of the designated style. But one whiff of the nose and I was prepared to call it a spiced singel. Dry and a bit yeasty here and there, with lots of hops and pepper coming through over the coriander and orange that you expect to dominate. These last two are a bit more present in the taste, though not so much with the juniper, but overall it was a nice, dry, spicy brew.

Draft at holiday valley beer fest, coriander and subtle floral notes. Touch of citrus zest. Good wit

WAY too carbonated. Spicey like asparagus. too dark for a belgian white, the flavors dont mesh well at all. more vegetable flavor than the traditional orange or coriandor. not great.

Peppery aroma. Light, crisp, and smooth. Wheat, yeast, citrus zest, and pepper. Very nice.

Pours a hazy pale yellow/honey color with a small white head. Aroma is wheaty with light spice and citrus. Flavor follows suit...not bad at all but boring...not much going on to set it apart from other wits. Mouthfeel is light/medium and lively with a dry spiced finish.

Pours a hazy honey gold with shades of orange. Neat single finger of white head. Beading is slow and steady. The spices dominate the nose - its hard to pin down just one, quite a blend. Heavy coriander, vanilla, citrus peel, gingerbread... smells like theres something in the oven. The taste takes a similar direction. I dont think Ive ever had a beer so heavily spiced. It doesnt attempt to disguise anything beneath, it just seems to take the lead role. Overall, this is a very interesting one. I could even see my girlfriend diggin this one. Good stuff.

This one was a bit of a foamer. Nose is an intense and complex blend of various spices and some esters and sweet oranges. Flavor lends an overwhelming amount of peppercorns and various phenolics and light bready malts. Medium bodied and crisp carbonation. The peppercorns dominate this.

This starts with a gush of foam, so be aware. The aroma is an interesting blend of juniper, pepper, and citrus. It pours a very hazy orange-amber, with a full white head. The juniper comes through in the flavor and adds an interesting twist to the usual coriander, pepper, and orange. This is a bit thicker in the mouthfeel then I prefer my witbiers. Overall, this is a very solid and interesting white... if you dont like juniper, I would stay away.
