CZEJEN (6) - POLAND - FEB 11, 2014 does not count
UPDATED: FEB 12, 2014 Dark copper colour. Well balanced floral aroma with a delicate herbal note. Malty amber taste. It’s possible to get a nice regular and durable foam by the "pour hard method" into a oversized cup. Intnesive orthonasally and retro-nasally impressions. A long and diverse finish. Using just the first wort and 100 percent of munich malt, the brewery created a unique beer. One of my favorites.

Koelschtrinker (20591) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 5, 2011
Test vom 9.5.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,11,12,11,11

Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - NOV 24, 2013
Geruch malzig, hopfig, dezent schokoladig. Start süßlich und würzig. Mitte sehr würzig, süßlich-aromatisch, getreidig. Angenehm malzsüßer und getreidiger Abgang. Gefällt.

jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - FEB 24, 2007
Bottled. Herbal aroma with some caramel malts. Light brown to amber, beige head, good lace. Light sweet, bitter, very herbal and malty. Little sticky with a dry finish. It’s more like an Alt than a Dunkel Export as the brewer says but I still like it a lot.

ThirstyBird (2953) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2013
Pours a clear deep golden yellow color with a rich dense off white head. Smell is caramel malt, grain and a bit of hops. The taste follows the nose with a bit of fruit, and some spiciness. The beer ends with a bit of hay and is dry. Body is light/medium with medium/fine carbonation. Very nice beer.

bartlebier (4013) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - JUN 2, 2014
[email protected] Köln 2014, offered, accompanied by a long introduction on its production process as "Vormanns Vorderbier". Pleasant and rich malt aromatics, chewy HQ grains. if I understand correctly the first mash was prehopped, providing additional depth? Smooth, thick brew, at least for a Helles. Ref.: Fiege Pils.

jfb (6354) - GERMANY - OCT 16, 2013
(bottle) pours a clear amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of herbal hops and bread dough, slightly metallic, with a hint of straw, cherry stones, raisins and caramel. flavour is mostly just gently roasted malts, very chewy, with some more light caramel, a light peachy fruitiness, earth and a slightly tannic finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

Zlotta (3412) - Hagen / Düsseldorf, GERMANY - AUG 7, 2016
0.33 l bottle at ’Vormann Brauereiausschank’. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, malty aroma of caramel, honey and nuts. Quite sweet and malty taste of caramel, honey and nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!
